Documentation Device Industrial Design

Two-week final project for my Industrial Design course focused on form design, aesthetic CAD renderings, and UI/UX.
Form Ideation
For my final project, I was challenged to envision a device to enhance an in-person learning experience. After interviewing educators, I designed a device that would aid in lab documentation by collecting, photos, videos, and voice memos. Being an Industrial design course, I was focused on the physical form and aesthetics of the device. Starting with rough sketches of simple forms, I worked my way to an intuitive and sleek design. I edited all my drawings into a compelling sketch page that would help tell the story of the design process.
CAD and Renderings
I replicated my final sketch in SOLIDWORKS and applied photorealistic materials in AutoCAD. I rendered the file and Photoshopped it into a background to show off a realistic version of my design.
